Α. ENGLISH LESSONS FOR CHILDREN from 4 years old

Fun and interactive English lessons for children aged 4+ in small groups. The lessons have been designed for young children of kindergarten and primary school.

Children learn English through games, stories, songs and other interactive activities. In the first place, they learn to distinguish the sounds of the language and say words and later on they learn to communicate.

The lessons aim to give the children the opportunity to have the first touch with the English language through games and eventually love it, in order to learn it as their native language.

The lessons are based on modern studies of evolutionary psychology according to the age of each child.

All of the activities are designed in such a way to cause enthusiasm to the children and make them leave with a smile on their face.  Our purpose is to prepare the students for the next levels of English lessons we offer at our institution.

Β. ROBOTICS AND PROGRAMMING LESSONS FOR CHILDREN from 4 years old

We teach children how to code so they can program their own robot or make their own application or game.

The syllabus is based on successful standards applied World wide. 

We understand robotics and we know how to teach it!

Robots are engaging and captivate the young generation’s imagination. Robots also provide a valuable educational tool and a hands-on-fun way of learning STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) by watching and interacting with robots.

Through the fun and interactive robotics and STEM lessons, children make their first steps in programming and see their orders apply in real constructions.

Educational robotics is an educational and at the same time entertaining activity that combines learning with gaming, thus transforming education into a thrilling adventure and exploration all at once.

There are several levels of difficulty, depending on the child’s age and experience in robotics and programming. Students are not required to have any specific prior knowledge.

Our institution offers the following types of robots: MouseBot, Beebot, BlueBot, Dash & Dot, Engino and the applications Scratch and Kodable.

  • Steve Jobs once said “Everybody should learn how to program a computer, because it teaches you how to think.” And, that was 20 years ago.
  • In the UK, computer science is now compulsory on the curriculum for all students between the ages of 5 and 16.
  • According to experts, a child at around the age of  7 should be capable of both writing and debugging a simple program. And, by the age of 11, children are expected to flirt with computing concepts that were once taught to undergraduate students.
  • Given that technology is in our lives for good, mastering code at a young age is considered critical to one’s future success in life.
  • Learning to code helps develop computational thinking and problem-solving skills.
